ABOUT

My name is Anne Weeks (she/her) and I have lived in Tofino for many years. As a mother of two boys, I know how challenging parent life on the West Coast can be. Birthing out of town, combined with rainy winters and limited support, can leave families at risk for feeling isolated and exhausted.

As a Postpartum Doula, I can help. My goal is to ease the transition of bringing home a new baby so that parents can feel supported, encouraged and more confident. Whether through pregnancy, surrogacy, adoption or fostering; whether it’s your first or fourth child; however your family unit is structured - caring for an infant is some of the most challenging work out there!

Letting someone help you is an act of brave vulnerability, and I am honoured to work alongside families as they navigate their unique postpartum journey. By offering guidance, information and physical / emotional comforts during baby’s first year, I can help restore some balance during this intense - and magical - time.

When I’m not holding babies, you will find me walking the beach with my family, attempting to garden or napping.
